Elle s&rsquo;adresse aux personnes ayant v\u00e9cu des \u00e9v\u00e9nements marquants, qu&rsquo;ils soient r\u00e9cents ou anciens, et dont les effets continuent d&rsquo;affecter le quotidien. Chaque souvenir est trait\u00e9 progressivement : le patient se rem\u00e9more un \u00e9v\u00e9nement douloureux et observe les pens\u00e9es, les \u00e9motions et les sensations qui y sont associ\u00e9es. Parall\u00e8lement, il suit des stimulations bilat\u00e9rales altern\u00e9es (SBA) &#8211; mouvements oculaires, sons alternatifs ou tapotements tactiles &#8211; qui activent un m\u00e9canisme naturel de retraitement de l&rsquo;information. Cette approche th\u00e9rapeutique permet de diminuer l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle des souvenirs douloureux, de transformer les croyances n\u00e9gatives sur soi et ainsi, les souvenirs ne sont pas effac\u00e9s, mais ils deviennent moins envahissants, favorisant davantage de libert\u00e9 et d&rsquo;apaisement dans la vie quotidienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:64px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-80edbe9d\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-heading-80edbe9d\"><em>Indications \u00e0 la th\u00e9rapie EMDR<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;EMDR est indiqu\u00e9e pour traiter <strong>l&rsquo;ensemble des sympt\u00f4mes associ\u00e9s \u00e0 un traumatisme<\/strong> r\u00e9cent ou ancien (accidents, agressions, violences, catastrophes naturelles, attentats).
